Duvvada Jagannadham or DJ is a 2017 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film written and directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film stars Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's music while Ayananka Bose handled the cinematography. Principal photography commenced in August 2016 in Hyderabad. Abu Dhabi was also a filming location; the production crew chose Abu Dhabi, as they would benefit from the Emirate's 30% film production rebate. It is also dubbed into Malayalam as Dhruvaraja Jagannadh and into Hindi as DJ.
Duvvada Jagannatham Sastry (Allu Arjun) is a small town Shaiva Brahmin Pujari boy who goes against all odds and helps others. Seeing this quality of his, a high-profile cop (Murali Sharma) asks him to become DJ, a man who fights crime in disguise. This is the same time when Jagannadham falls in love with Pooja (Pooja Hegde) the daughter of a high profile minister (Posani Krishna Murali) involved with yet another crime lord Royyala Naidu (Rao Ramesh) who also operates in disguise. On the other hand, DJ decides to take on Royyala Naidu in his mission but does not know who he is in actual life. Rest of the story is as to how Duvvada Jagannadham alias DJ manages to finish Royyala Naidu.

Initially Shruti Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal were approached for the lead actress. But Pooja Hegde was finalised for that role. The film team placed a statute of Lord Shiva in Chennakeshava Temple in Belur. This is against the custom and tradition of the temple and opposed by the temple priests. The film team got permission from the Department of History and Archaeology for the shoot and resumed it. The film completed the shooting of major action episodes at Aluminum factory Hyderabad on 21 April 2017.
