Baaghi 3 is a 2020 Indian Hindi action thriller directed by Ahmed Khan. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios, this is a spiritual sequel to Baaghi 2 (2018) and the third film in the Baaghi film series. Baaghi 3 stars Tiger Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor. A remake of the Tamil-language film Vettai 2012, the film follows Ronnie, a young man who protects his shy brother Vikram from bullying. He convinces Vikram to join the police force and works with him to eliminate the criminals without exposing himself. When Vikram receives national praise, he is sent on a mission to Syria where Ronnie sees him being beaten up and kidnapped during a video call. This pushes him to go to Syria and rescue Vikram.
The film co-stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, Jameel Khoury and Ankita Lokhande. Disha Patani, who played the lead female role in the previous film, makes a special appearance in the song "Do You Love Me". The action sequences were choreographed by Ram Chella, Lakshman Chella and Kecha Khampadkee. The main photography for the film began on September 12, 2019 in Mumbai. The manufacturers wanted to shoot in Syria, but producers Fox Star Studios refused due to security concerns, due to which sets resembling Syrian topography were built in Serbia.
Baaghi 3 was released in theaters on March 6, 2020 in India, receiving mixed reviews; the action sequences were praised while the writing was criticized. Despite a solid performance during its opening week, the film's collections were affected by the 2019-2020 coronavirus pandemic when the cinemas closed. It was planned to publish again once the epidemic ended, but the manufacturers decided instead to publish it on digital platforms. Nevertheless, it became the second most profitable Bollywood film of 2020.
